Arsenal legend Thierry Henry will appear on Sky Sports show Monday Night Football for AFC Bournemouth's clash with West Ham United on the South Coast.
The Frenchman is a regular on TV channels in America as he stars on the CBS Champions League show alongside Kate Scott, Micah Richards and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, who he will work alongside on Monday. It will be the first time that Henry will be on Sky television for nearly nine months after he joined the panel for Arsenal's thumping win at Sheffield United.
Henry used to be a regular on one of the main Premier League providers in the United Kingdom after retiring in 2015 and immediately joining the broadcaster. Since then, he has delved into football management, where he has been in the dugout as AS Monaco and Montreal Impact head coach as well as the France under-21 and Olympic coach, where they earned a silver medal in their home games.
The reason for his return to Sky Sports screens remains unknown, and it could be a coincidence that on Monday, it was the 10-year anniversary of his retirement from professional football.
Henry enjoyed an illustrious career spanning time with Monaco, Juventus, the Gunners, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls. He is fondly remembered for his time in North London, where he won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and was a runner-up in both the Champions League and UEFA Cup.
The 47-year-old's affirmation for Arsenal has never waned, and recently, he has lauded star forward Bukayo Saka as Mikel Arteta's side gun for the Premier League crown. He said: "He's my favourite player.
"He's been there for so long, and he's so nice. I never thought he would reach the levels we are seeing.
"He's a starter for Arsenal; he's a starter for England. I remember when he started he was playing wing-back, and the evolution of his game is outstanding because he used to be so lively, to now scoring goals and assists."
