**Karl Hein** kept a massive clean sheet to help Real Valladolid claim a vital 1-0 win over Valencia in LaLiga.
With both sides desperate for points, Hein managed to keep Valencia at bay at the Jose Zorilla as Anuar Tuhami's 20th minute goal was enough to move Valladolid off the foot of the table and within four points of safety.
In the Europa League, **Fabio Vieira** played the first 70 minutes in FC Porto's 2-0 win over Danish side FC Midtjylland.
Danny Namaso and Samu Agehowa did the damage for the Portuguese side, with Vieira making way for Ivan Jaime in the second half.
Elsewhere in the competition, **Nuno Tavares** played the final 20 minutes of Lazio's 3-1 victory against Ajax in Amsterdam.
Nuno made his bow with the game at 2-1 to the Italians as former Barcelona winger Pedro netted a fine goal in the 77th minute to round off the victory.
Lazio are top of the Europa League standings with two matches remaining. FC Porto, meanwhile, find themselves in 18th position.
In the Women's Super League, **Michelle Agyemang** played the second half as Brighton were held to a 1-1 draw against Spurs.
Coming on for Pauline Bremer at the interval, Agyemang's side fell behind to a Beth England strike on 75 minutes.
But the Seagulls fought back as Marisa Olislagers netted seven minutes later to leave the match level. Brighton are currently fifth, four points behind us heading into the festive break.
**Teyah Goldie** was a second half substitute during London City Lionesses' 3-1 victory over Southampton in the Women's Championship.
Kosovare Asllani, Isobel Goodwin and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah scored the goals before Goldie's introduction in the 83rd minute. The result puts London City into third place.
**Albert Sambi Lokonga** made his return to the matchday squad with Sevilla as he helped the Spanish side to a 1-0 win over Celta Vigo.
After not featuring in the dramatic 4-3 loss to Atletico Madrid, Sambi came on in the second half against Celta Vigo to play the final 20 minutes. Manu Bueno got the all-important goal for the hosts as Jesus Navas marked the end of his career with the club after more than 600 appearances.
