Club turn attention away from Everton man – Focusing on other target as Toffees make stance clear

Beto didn’t feature for Everton in their goalless draw against Arsenal at the weekend.

He hasn’t played even a single minute for the club in the last two Premier League games and has made only one league start for Sean Dyche’s side.

The Portuguese forward has been linked with a move to Torino in the past few weeks and there was previously talk of the Turin side making contact for him.

An update has emerged about the 26-year-old that suggests an Everton stay is likelier than a move to Torino

TuttoSport have reported Torino are focusing their attention on Inter Milan striker Marko Arnautovic after facing disappointment in their chase for Beto.

Club sporting director Davide Vagnati has attempted to sign the player but Everton are not opening up to letting him leave.

This has led to Torino looking at Arnautovic, who seems much more attainable to the Serie A side.

There is no indication about whether the Toffees will have the same stance about the player if other clubs come calling.
