Player’s Leicester City exit going terribly – Crowd now mocking him, quick goodbye wanted

Kelechi Iheanacho’s contract with Leicester City expired at the end of June and he joined Sevilla on a free transfer.

His time in Spain has not gone smoothly at all, with the forward having played only 536 minutes across all competitions, with eight appearances in La Liga so far.

The Nigerian got a chance in Sevilla’s league win over Celta Vigo yesterday and things turned ugly for the former Leicester City star.

MuchoDeporte note that because of Iheanacho, the Spanish side played like they were a man down. He did not ‘compete at all’ during the game and this led to the crowd mocking the 28-year-old.

The report states that ‘joking’ about Iheanacho became evident during the game and fans made their feelings known about the summer signing.

He’s expected to leave in the January transfer window. They state that if he doesn’t leave, it would be due to Sevilla’s inability to operate efficiently in the market.

Iheanacho’s big adventure after Leicester City isn’t going at all the way he’ll have hoped. Maybe a change of scenery is the best step now.
