West Ham United star Tomas Soucek is clearly in a buoyant mood ahead of tonight’s clash with Bournemouth.
Tomas Soucek has performed really well for West Ham on the whole this season, in spite of the unfair criticism he has received at times.
Jamie Carragher raved about Soucek after his performance against Wolves at the London Stadium last week.
The 29-year-old always puts in 100% effort, and he’s a hugely popular figure amongst the Hammers fanbase.

Soucek bleeds claret and blue, and his will and desire to push West Ham on to bigger and better things really is very impressive.
Now the former Slavia Prague midfielder has set his teammates a quite remarkable challenge.
Tomas Soucek shares what he’s told West Ham teammates
The Czech Republic international is one of the few players we have in our squad who is an experienced winner.
His mentality is second to none, and that shone through brightly with his latest comments.

Soucek is well known for driving the rest of the team on when the going gets tough.
And when speaking to WHUFC.com, Soucek shared the incredibly bold message he has just given his teammates.

The Czech Republic international explained, “I said in the changing room that I don’t want to see any more defeats this calendar year. And that starts at Bournemouth which will no doubt be a tough game.“
Wow, that’s quite the statement from Soucek.
Before the year is out, West Ham face games against Bournemouth away, Brighton at home, Southampton away and Liverpool at home.
Now, if the Hammers are able to navigate those four games without losing, I will be hugely surprised.
Lopetegui has overseen a painful regression at the London Stadium so far this season, and I wasn’t fooled by our win over Wolves.
If the Spaniard remains in charge for much longer, there will be a lot more trouble ahead for us.
I feel like Tomas Soucek might have unrealistic expectations regarding the quality of the West Ham squad.
However, I will say that it’s nice to hear one of our players speak so openly about how ambitious he is.
