Newcastle United have joined Liverpool and Arsenal in the race to sign West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus in 2025, as per Mirror. The Gunners see Kudus as an alternate for Bukayo Saka while the Magpies aim to add more firepower to their frontline. Meanwhile, Kudus could be a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah at Anfield.

Mohammed Kudus joined West Ham in the summer of 2023 from Eredivisie giants Ajax for a reported £38 million. Since joining the Premier League side, the Ghanaian attacker has bagged 16 goals and eight assists in 57 appearances across all competitions.

The 24-year-old has also gained the attention of top English top-tier clubs with his versatility. Kudus' preferred position is the right wing but he can play on the left flank as well as an attacking midfielder. Mohammed Kudus' current contract with the Hammers will expire in the summer of 2028.

However, he's unlikely to continue with West Ham as other Premier League clubs are showing interest in securing his services. Newcastle United would have to sell a couple of players to make room for the Ghanian attacker.

The Magpies sold the likes of Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh in the summer transfer window but they still need to make a few more sales to avoid the complications. Mohammed Kudus' contract reportedly has a release clause of £85 million.

Arsenal and Liverpool ready to compete for Barcelona star: Reports

Arne Slot's Liverpool and Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona's Raphinha in the upcoming transfer window, as per TBR Football (via CaughtOffside). La Blaugrana have been dealing with a complicated financial situation for quite some time and the LaLiga giants need to sell a few players.

As per the aforementioned report, they were earlier open to letting Raphinha leave the Camp Nou outfit as Arsenal and Liverpool were also interested in signing the Brazilian attacker.

However, Raphinha's current form has made him a top star for La Blaugrana. The Brazilian attacker has bagged 17 goals and 10 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona this season. He has also taken on the captain's armband for La Blaugrana.

Nevertheless, Liverpool and Arsenal are still interested in signing the Brazilian and Barcelona could allow Raphinha to leave if they receive a decent offer.
