It’s always difficult to know how much of the negative speculation surrounding West Ham United is based on inaccuracies. Clearly there are some in the media with an agenda and tales of West Ham woes may not always ben what they seem.
However, while we can’t be certain that Hammers head coach Julen Lopetegui has physically clashed with players like Kudus and Todibo, or had verbal spats with Füllkrug and Areola, it’s probably safe to suggest that those who joined with aspirations of playing European football are feeling disillusioned at the moment.
Therefore, it’s not too big a stretch to believe that Mohammed Kudus might prefer a move to title-chasing Arsenal over staying at the London Stadium.

Today’s news suggests Emerson could be eyeing an escape route, with Juventus reportedly interested. Whilst some fans were quick to dismiss the rumour, I’m not so sure.
Emerson is a talented footballer, an Italian international accustomed to winning European trophies. In fact, the former Chelsea player can justifiably boast about having won it all. Assuming he’d stay at West Ham purely out of loyalty seems naïve.
In many respects, it’s the most realistic rumour I’ve heard in a long time. Not only is Emerson good enough to play for Juventus, but the transfer also makes perfect sense.
Players won’t put up with lower league struggles
Tonight’s Premier League fixture against AFC Bournemouth is crucial for West Ham. Whilst the Hammers can’t move higher or lower than 14th in the table this evening, we risk becoming further detached from the breakaway top 13. A glance below shows teams in better form than West Ham, and right now, it’s more likely we’ll be overtaken than the ones doing the overtaking.
Julen Lopetegui has the chance tonight to close the gap on the breakaway group or risk being further mired in an increasingly detached bottom seven.
What’s beyond doubt is that West Ham have a talented squad of players with ambitions far greater than just being slightly better than Ipswich Town. If the Hammers don’t get their house in order soon, Emerson won’t be the only player heading for the exit
