Ruben Amorim has questioned two Manchester United players over the persistent leaks.

Derby day hero Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho have been quizzed by the Portuguese boss as he tries to get to the bottom of the matchday leaks. United's squad for the Manchester derby leaked the evening before their trip to the Etihad Stadium.

However, it wouldn't matter as Amorim's side would stun Manchester City with a whirlwind comeback. Garnacho’s brother Roberto had been accused on social media of being one source, but he has denied any wrongdoing.

Speaking after the win, Amorim admitted he was unhappy: "I know that story, I think it is impossible to fix, you have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents, it is not a good thing.”

And, according to The Sun, he's now looking to put a stop to the leaks with the probe.

Amorim has already proved he has a ruthless side ahead of the derby as he axed both Garnacho and Marcus Rashford from the squad for Sunday’s game due to their poor training.

"It's not a disciplinary thing. Next week it's a new week, new life. It's how you dress, how you eat and how you interact with your team mates. When people in the club are losing their jobs, we have to push our standards incredibly high.”

He added: "Nothing special. Finish one game, start a new week. New week, new life, if they train well they will compete for a place in the team. They are playing because they are talented, we need Rashford and Garnacho.

"Next week if they train well like the others. It's the same for everyone. They will play or be on the bench. It was not a disciplinary thing. We have to improve our standards inside and outside the pitch. It was a normal week."
