West Ham head to Bournemouth on Monday night with Julen Lopetegui at a crossroads over his future with the club.
A poor performance and defeat could see Julen Lopetegui sacked by West Ham.
Especially now other clubs are sniffing around the man the Hammers reportedly have on standby – Graham Potter.
Andoni Iraola’s side are flying high this season and playing some excellent football.
It is the kind of football West Ham fans hoped and expected to see when they went in a different direction to David Moyes.
Instead Lopetegui’s side has shown absolutely no sign of any identity or philosophy let alone any consistency.
A fortunate win over Wolves has done little to convince fans or West Ham’s owners.
Although it did buy the Spaniard another the Bournemouth game in charge.

Thierry Henry runs the rule over West Ham and the agenda set will worry Lopetegui.
Sky Sports has announced Premier League legend Henry will be the guest for the Monday Night Football.
Alongside Jamie Carragher, Henry will assess the Hammers.
Many West Ham fans have hit out after the announcement, asking why Sky Sports are getting an Arsenal legend on to talk about a game between them and Bournemouth.
Henry does have interesting insight on the game, though.

Agenda set will worry Lopetegui with West Ham job in balance
The item top of the agenda doesn’t bode well for Lopetegui if he doesn’t get a positive result.
Because it is all about ‘manager sackings’.
Carragher has already made it clear, when West Ham beat Newcastle on Monday Night Football a few weeks ago, that he thinks Lopetegui was the wrong appointment.
In fact Carragher warned West Ham not to get carried away by the victory at St James’s Park and the sudden spike in running stats.
He was proved right as the Hammers were a shambles in 5-2 and 3-1 defeats to Arsenal and Leicester after that win.
That has seen West Ham fans calling for his head since.
Now Henry and Carragher will run the rule over West Ham and undoubtedly Lopetegui’s future given manager sackings are top of the agenda.
West Ham fans won’t be happy about the rest of the show’s pre-planned talking points, though.
Arne Slot tactical changes, Bournemouth numbers, Arsenal’s lack of goals and Man City vs Man United are the other topics Henry and Carragher will be discussing.
That’s before Henry and Carragher then choose the best forwards they’ve ever seen in the Premier League.

So if you were hoping to settle in and hear West Ham being analysed in great detail you might be left wanting.
Although they can’t avoid the elephant in the room regarding Lopetegui given what’s top of the agenda.
Especially if West Ham don’t get a win that might just turn things around for the ex Spain boss.
Victory for the Hammers could open the door to Europe out of nowhere.
Defeat will leave the club likely playing for nothing better than midtable mediocrity for the rest of the season.
