West Ham United are expected to be very busy indeed in the January transfer window.
Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten worked together to bring nine new players to the London Stadium in the summer.
However, it’s clear to see that the West Ham squad is severely lacking in numerous different areas.
As a result of the poor summer recruitment, Lopetegui’s job is now on the line, with the likes of Graham Potter being lined up to replace him.
It has been a really challenging season for the Hammers so far.

However, a couple of wins in a row up until the new year, and then a few strong additions in the January transfer window, and everything will seem a whole lot brighter.
It seems like Manchester United could be Lopetegui’s first port of call…
West Ham want Victor Lindelof from Manchester United in January
Victor Lindelof is said to be on the Hammers radar ahead of the January window according to a report from Caught Offside.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
The 30-year-old Manchester United defender has suffered injury problems at Old Trafford over the past few years, and has fallen well down the central defensive pecking order as a result.
However, that doesn’t mean that he isn’t a top-class centre-back.
The 70-capped Sweden international is absolutely brilliant at reading the game, and he is a terrific man-marker.

He has the experience and a certain kind of winning mentality that I feel West Ham are desperately lacking right now.
Victor Lindelof is said to be available for just £6.5 million in the January window, and I think that could be an absolute bargain for West Ham.
Word of warning though, Lindelof’s injury record is truly appalling, so signing him would be a big risk.
He has missed 33 games through injury for Man United and Sweden since the beginning of the 2022/23 season (Transfermarkt).
It will obviously be down to the West Ham board to decide whether or not Lindelof is worth taking a punt on for £6.5 million in January.
