As we slowly approach the winter transfer window, Barcelona are gearing up for potential departures that may help the club alleviate some of the stress on the balance sheet.
Eric Garcia is already hailed as one of the favourites to leave Barça in January, with his former club Girona among the ones keen on his services.
But apart from Garcia, another player in contention to leave Barcelona in January is Ansu Fati.
Hansi Flick opens the door
A recent report from Fichajes has offered an update on the future of Fati, suggesting that the Spaniard could be set for a January exit.
That is because Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has opened the door for the Spaniard to leave the club next month, as he appears to have finally lost hope in the player.

Flick was one of Fati’s strongest supporters when he returned from his dismal loan spell at Brighton in the summer.
The German tactician offered Fati an opportunity to redeem himself. But as ever, the forward’s early progress was marred by injuries.
Having recently returned to training, the 22-year-old could be back in the squad for the weekend’s La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid. But beyond that, his future is uncertain heading into the mid-season trading period.
Fortunately for Barcelona, it appears Fati has no shortage of suitors heading into the January transfer window, with several European clubs interested in his services.
Sevilla have been notably linked with a move for the explosive forward recently, but whether or not their economic condition allows them to weigh up a January move remains to be seen.
