Your round-up of the latest Man Utd transfer stories as the January window edges closer.
United are still down in 13th, however, and new boss Amorim could look to next month’s transfer window in a bid to mould the Reds squad to his liking. Speculation is starting to really heat up as January edges closer, with goings on at Old Trafford always central to the mid-season rumour mill. And with all that in mind, Manchester World has rounded up some of the latest stories surrounding the club.
Kolo Muani boost
Interest in Randal Kolo Muani has resurfaced in recent weeks and reports from France suggest the forward will be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain next month. L’Equipe claim Kolo Muani has been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Luis Enrique, having been dropped from the squad entirely for Sunday’s 3-1 win over Olympique Lyonnais.
PSG agreed a £76.4million deal to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023, but the French international has been unable to nail down a first-team place, starting just two league games all season. The Ligue 1 giants are now reportedly willing to offload the 26-year-old, with United among those interested in a loan with an option to buy.
They are not alone, however, with TBR Football claiming Kolo Muani was offered to several Premier League clubs back in October, many of whom remain interested in a January move. Arsenal and Manchester City are both thought to have expressed an interest in signing the 2018 World Cup winner.

The Swedish international’s contract is due to expire in the summer and so a January move could be the only way United get any money back.
As well as the aforementioned Premier League trio, a host of Italian clubs including Inter Milan and Juventus are weighing up a possible move. The 30-year-old is also thought to be keen on leaving Manchester in search of more regular football elsewhere. The report adds that United would be open to offers between €7-8m (£5.8-6.6m).
