Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho took to social media with a minimalist yet poignant message following Chelsea's latest win - which continued their impressive streak in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has been influential for Enzo Maresca's title chasers, who now trail pace-setters Liverpool by just two points after a rollercoaster weekend that saw all the main contenders jostle for position. United made a mark of their own, meanwhile, with a comeback win to dent neighbours Manchester City's title defence.
Sancho's consistent performances have made him a fixture in the team, notching a fifth start in six games against Brentford where they emerged victorious, by a 2-1 margin. In the aftermath, Sancho rallied behind teammate Cole Palmer, who posted: "1%" with a fingers crossed and a red heart emoji on his Instagram story.
Echoing the sentiment, Sancho responded in kind with the same heart emoji. Chelsea are contractually obliged to make Sancho's move permanent should they secure a spot above the 14th place in the Premier League this season and that, as this stage, really ought to be a formality.

The Reds' euphoric win over their city rivals has given them a comfortable 16-point cushion, above West Ham in 14th, putting United in line to collect a transfer fee thought to be between £20million and £25million for Sancho.
Sancho has been vocal about his positive experience since joining the squad at Stamford Bridge, highlighting the supportive environment. "We're all kind of leaders, because we all have different attributes to help each other, but the leading voice is definitely the manager," the 23-cap England winger previously said.
"The manager is the voice of the whole team and whatever he says goes. We all buy into that. He understands us and always gives us advice about what to do in our position, and how to help each other out. All the players trust him and believe in him.
"It's always nice to feel supported, but he's played the game as well so has a lot to offer and give advice on, about what to do and not do."
