The January transfer window is fast approaching.
The Friedkin Group are set to be installed as Everton’s new owners this week and plans are already being drawn up for the winter window.
Sean Dyche is expected to have funds available, however, the American investors will have to put a limit on his spending due to PSR regulations.
Everton are still facing financial issues with the Premier League, so they may have to operate on a sell-to-buy policy.
That makes trading paramount to their transfer plans, though, one player who was set to leave is now likely to remain put at Goodison Park.

Beto set to stay at Everton
Earlier this month, Everton News reported that Beto had requested to leave Goodison Park this winter after growing frustrated by his lack of playing time.
Dyche has started the £30m forward just once this term as he continues to favour the out-of-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
It was previously reported that Everton were willing to grant Beto his wish to leave and a return to Serie A looked very much on the cards.
Juventus and Torino were both keen to land his signature and a loan with an option to buy had been mooted.

But now, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Everton are not prepared to sanction a January transfer for Beto.
As a result, Torino have now walked away from the deal and are focusing on trying to sign Inter Milan’s Marko Arnautovic instead.
Beto now behind Armando Broja in pecking order
With Chelsea loanee Armando Broja now back from an achillies injury, Beto may have just been demoted to third-choice striker.
Everton fans were so impressed with Broja’s cameo against Arsenal and urged Dyche to start him over Calvert-Lewin moving forward.
So, it seems Beto is even further behind in his bid to start for Everton, making it a strange decision for the club to block a January exit.
The Toffees also have Youssef Chermiti on the cusp of returning, so it’d make sense to offload Beto and his reported (Capology) £50,000-a-week wages.
