La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Monday been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Kylian Mbappé appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury.
Frontman Mbappé was for his part of course condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines last week.
Forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s Champions League downing of Atalanta, the Frenchman was subsequently diagnosed with a muscular issue.
In turn, it may come as something of a surprise to learn that, just six days on, Mbappé is already back out on the grass, ramping up his recovery.
The 25-year-old was earlier today named in Real Madrid’s travelling squad bound for Qatar for the Intercontinental Cup final.
And, if Mbappé’s efforts on Monday are anything to go by, it is certainly not out of the question that the summer arrival in Spain’s capital could go on to play his part.
This comes with Mbappé having been spotted running at close to full pace at Valdebebas:
