West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui has been up against it all season long.
Julen Lopetegui came into the London Stadium to replace David Moyes in the summer, but he has failed to establish himself at West Ham.
Lopetegui was under real pressure before our win over Wolves last week, and Graham Potter was allegedly being lined up to replace him.
West Ham have been so poor this season.
The performances in general have been horrendous, and the results equally poor.
Lopetegui has seriously failed to impress, and has been unable to implement an improved style of football.

So what’s next for the Spaniard?
Sure, it was a bit better tonight against the Cherries but was it good enough? In my opinion, no.
And the latest update really is the most depressing thing I’ve read in a long time.
The most depressing Julen Lopetegui sack update imaginable
The Spaniard is clearly on very thin ice at the London Stadium.

But is his job as precarious as people are making out?
It seems like maybe he’s safer in his role as Hammers head coach than we might think.
One of David Sullivan’s chief confidant’s has just provided a big update on Lopetegui’s current situation.
Sean Whetstone took to his X account and made a big claim about the Spaniard:
Julen Lopetegui will have
“some leeway tonight as West Ham are LONG odds against winning tonight”

I’m sorry but that’s just pathetic of you ask me.
Lopetegui has proven time and time again this season that he is unable to get a tune out of the current Hammers squad.
The 58-year-old still doesn’t know his best XI, and he’s five months into the job remember!
Even during the clash with Bournemouth when we were seemingly on top, I still didn’t see a discernible playing style.
There were no patterns of play and the only tactic we have going forward seems to be give the ball to Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus and see what they can do with it.
I really feel like West Ham are headed for a really poor season, unless the board decide to sack Julen Lopetegui now.
The odd decent result here and there should not be enough to keep him in the job. There is no long-term plan and no vision, and that’s what concerns me the most.
