Barcelona are said to be interested in Monaco left-back Caio Henrique who is keen to leave the Ligue 1 club.
Deco is said to have been watching Henrique for some time and sees him as a real option to help bolster the Barca backline, according to reporter Andrés Onrubia.
Barca are thinking about a loan move, with a purchase option, and Henrique is said to be willing to leave Monaco as he’s slipped down the pecking order.
There’s even a suggestion that Henrique is willing to go in January, although it’s not clear if Barca will be in a position to sign players in the winter window.
The Catalans still need to find a way to try and register Dani Olmo and Pau Victory, who are both only registered until the end of the year.
Yet left-back is [something of a problem position for Barca](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/11/28/24304892/which-left-back-is-best-suited-to-give-alejandro-balde-a-run-for-his-money-at-barcelona). Alejandro Balde is the only recognised left-back in the squad, leaving Hansi Flick a little short on options.
Barcelona have been [linked wtih a move for Alphonso Davies](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/11/24317974/barcelona-looking-for-a-left-back-as-alphonso-davies-option-fades) at the end of the season, but the latest updates have suggested he will stay at Bayern instead.
