Newcastle United look set to lose a long-term player in the summer, as reports have emerged about a deal in principle being agreed over a January exit.
Eddie Howe has managed to get things back on track at Newcastle United with a dominant 4-0 win over Leicester City at the weekend.
Ruud van Nistelrooy was impressed by Newcastle, stating they were so good that he even learnt a thing or two that will help his Leicester side.
The clean sheet against Leicester was the first since early November, and a confidence boost for Martin Dubravka, who is filling in for Nick Pope.
However, it appears as if the goalkeeper could be on his way out in the summer, as reports have emerged claiming he’s agreed a deal in principle with a new club.
Martin Dubravka agrees deal in principle to join Al-Shabab
Martin Dubravka had to settle with a back-up role prior to Nick Pope’s injury, but he got his chance against Leicester and will keep his place moving forward.
His contract is set to run out in June and a lack of game time may play a factor in his thinking.

What’s the latest with Nick Pope?
Nick Pope suffered an injury against Brentford that is set to keep him out for around a month.
Dubravka looked solid against Leicester, but it seems as if he’s made his mind up and wants to be elsewhere in January, with Saudi the likely destination.
With his contract up in June this does make perfect sense; it’s just the timing of things doesn’t add up as Howe will have looked to Dubravka as the go-to man until Pope returns.
This now gives Newcastle a big decision to make, as they either have to rely on Odysseas Vlachodimos depending on when Pope returns, or they’ll need to dip into the market.
