Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a new striker in the upcoming winter transfer window as the Lilywhites look to replace exit-bound Richarlison at White Hart Lane, and the North Londoners have been eyeing a move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Richarlison has been a frustrating presence at Hotspur Way owing to the struggles to find his feet at N17 following his highly anticipated transfer from Everton that has seen him net only 16 goals donning the Spurs badge. Moreover, the Brazilian has been suffering from consistent injuries that have limited his involvement at Hotspur Way. To put things into context, the former Watford ace has only featured for 88 minutes in the Premier League this season.

The North Londoners have now been looking to bring in another centre forward from Everton; however, Spurs will also have to deal with competition from Arsenal for his signature, who entered in a £20m transfer race for the Englishman earlier this month.
And while Daniel Levy ponders moving for the 27-year-old, French giants Monaco have also entered the race for DCL’s signatures, per Football Insider.
Calvert-Lewin’s profile as a traditional centre-forward fits Tottenham’s need for a physical and goal-scoring presence upfront that can play with the back to goal as well as be a clinical presence in-between the opponents backline. However, with the competition rising for his services, Daniel Levy will need to act fast, especially if Tottenham is serious about landing Calvert-Lewin.
