Real Madrid face Chelsea on the last matchday of the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage.
In the last home game of the year 2024, Las Blancas can fight for the first place in group B. On the first matchday of the group stage, the white club lost against Chelsea 3-2 which remains their only loss in the UWCL so far. On the other side, Chelsea haven’t lost all season, as they also occupy the first place in group B winning all 15 points so far. The London team has not lost a single match this season, winning all of their games until the 1-1 draw against Leicester this weekend.
“In the dressing room, the team knows that they did the most difficult thing, which was to qualify for the next round and now it’s time to enjoy this match with our fans at home. We have the opportunity to finish first in the group. The team is very strong and eager,” Linda Caicedo speaks in the press conference ahead of the home match against Chelsea.
The Colombian also speaks on the FIFPRO World 11:
“It’s also important because in the end it says what you’ve been doing. It’s important to take that leap and be better every day. I’m on the right track. The team helps me a lot too and I’m happy about all that.”
