Serie A side Torino have been linked with a move for Everton’s Beto over the past week, one of a growing list of Serie A sides thought to be keen.
Yesterday it was stated the Turin side were looking to turn their attention away from the Everton striker, as the Toffees were not willing to let the player depart.
Inter Milan’s Marko Arnautovic was then seen as an alternative for Torino to move to.
There is now a new development in the saga and SpazioInter have reported that talks are progressing between Torino and Arnautovic’s agent and this has led to Inter thinking about a potential replacement.
Club director Beppe Marotta has an old liking for Everton’s Beto and the Portuguese forward is seen as a potential replacement for Arnautovic.
The Nerazzurri could come back in for Beto, who is said to have been a target for them during his time at Udinese. He would arrive at the San Siro as a back-up option for attack, operating as an alternative to Lautaro Martinez or Marcus Thuram.
Whether Everton would see an approach from Inter Milan better than Torino is unknown, but the player himself would surely be more attracted by such a big move.
