I think she has the best passing ability, the best game vision and the best technical ability in the world.”
The Scottish midfielder has worn the captain’s armband at Arsenal with distinction, and has represented the club more than 250 times. In 2022, Little’s contributions to football earned her recognition beyond the pitch, as she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to the sport.
Upon receiving the award, Little said in a video message: “I would like to thank Mundo Deportivo for this award. It’s good to be recognised in another country for my impact on women’s football. So, a huge thank you for supporting women’s football.”
