Since Roman Abramovich’s takeover in 2003, Chelsea have been one of the most successful teams in the Premier League era.
The Blues have made it a habit of winning trophies regardless of who the manager is and have unearthed several players who have gone on to become global superstars.
The current crop under Enzo Maresca are undoubtedly talented and could well make a push for the Premier League title, but the teams managed by Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti will always have a special place in the hearts of the Stamford Bridge faithful.
And Thierry Henry feels he’d have flourished even more if he played alongside two gifted attackers from an iconic Chelsea side.

Didier Drogba is widely regarded as the greatest Chelsea player of the 21st century and scored several important goals for the club.
He signed for a club as a relative unknown under Mourinho and went on to win several trophies at Stamford Bridge during his two stints with the club.
Henry feels he’d have loved to play alongside Drogba as they’d have complemented each other well, while he also signed out compatriot Nicolas Anelka for special praise.
“Because of the way he used to play and because of the way he was, I have two players who I’d have loved to play with in the Premier League,” said Henry on MNF.
“Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. I would have loved to play with Anelka up front and Drogba. Because I think both of us up front – big problem! I saw him the other day we were talking about it.
“We sat down at the airport and I told him ‘Can you believe if both of us played together?’
“He didn’t like to go out of the area. I was a bit of a mover and it would have been a problem. And let’s not forget Anelka – he was a problem and I’d have loved to have played with him.”
Earlier this year, Drogba lavished praise on Henry and described him as ‘different’ class, which just shows the mutual respect between the pair.

While the Ivorian’s exploits are more well-known, Anelka won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2009 and spent the most stable part of his nomadic career at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba, on the other hand, is one of the greatest attackers in Premier League history and won 12 major trophies at the club including a handful of other personal accolades.
