Wolverhampton Wanderers' forward Matheus Cunha has found himself in hot water with the FA after a heated exchange with an Ipswich Town staff member.
The incident occurred as emotions ran high at Molineux during Wolves' 2-1 defeat, with Cunha seemingly lashing out at a coach from the opposing team. The clash led to further fracas, resulting in Rayan Ait-Nouri's red card and photographs emerging of Cunha forcefully taking the glasses from a staff member's face.
According to reports by Mirror Football, the FA was anticipating referee Simon Hooper's match report before determining whether to commence disciplinary proceedings. The governing body has now confirmed Cunha is facing charges over his conduct.
