Sheffield Wednesday are yet to receive an official approach for Danny Rohl amid links with Southampton, The Star has said.
Sheffield Wednesday will have known the day was coming when manager Danny Rohl would be strongly linked with a move to a higher level.
The Owls hired him as a highly-rated yet somewhat unknown coach. He had never been the lead man in a senior dugout before but had experienced in notable roles alongside the likes of Hansi Flick, Ralph Hasenhuttl and more at some big sides.

His work at Hillsborough has seen him thrust into the limelight though, and many feel he is destined to manage at a high level.
Southampton are said to be interested in the Sheffield Wednesday chief after their decision to sack Russell Martin. It has also since emerged that Rohl was on Leicester City’s radar before hiring Ruud van Nistelrooy.
However, according to The Star, it’s business as usual for Rohl and the Owls.
They state that no official approaches have been made for the Sheffield Wednesday boss. Interest is nothing new with clubs keeping an eye on his performance at Hillsborough, but it seems there’s no immediate threat of him departing at this moment in time.
