Hammers’ Should Steer Well Clear | This Faded Forward Spells Trouble

West Ham United have enough challenges at the moment without adding to their ‘dressing room and player attitude’ troubles. I suspect [Julen Lopetegui](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-soap-opera-lopetegui-cannot-hide-the-truth/) is already embroiled in far more than we know about with his [Jean-Clair Todibo](https://www.claretandhugh.info/jean-clair-todibo-fitness-update-for-arsenal-visit/) bust up, which according to rumours yesterday brought fellow Konstantinos Mavropanos into conflict with Todibo.

The official line was ‘injury’ but I’m not buying it, neither it seems are many others who reported the rumours. It will be interesting to see how long that stays ‘in the dressing room’.

Links I’ve found suggesting West Ham should make a bid for ‘bargain’ **Marcus Rashford** who will, apparently,  be up for sale in January with a ‘bargain £40 million’ price tag should be consigned to the circular file.

Apart from the fact that we don’t have £40 million to blow on a striker anyway! The idea of Lopetegui trying to assimilate an overpaid fallen star with a lack of interest in running, chasing and tackling back into an already divided dressing room just shouts ‘disaster’.

After the Bournemouth game it looks as if there might be a teeny sign of encouragement, let us not consider adding yet more strife to West Ham’s troubles just when we may be turning the corner.
