Bromley boss Andy Woodman has urged Crystal Palace loanee Danny Imray to ‘stay’ put this winter.
Bromley signed the full-back on loan in the last transfer window and he is due to return to Selhurst Park next month.
Imray, 21, has since made 20 appearances for the League Two side in all competitions, 17 of which have come in the league, and he has scored two goals.
Woodman has said, as per a report by Your Local Guardian: “He’s Palace’s player, so I can’t have much say on it. What I would say to Danny and every young player is you have got to be better off playing football. Playing at a place that is local to you. Danny will have a great career wherever he goes next. I don’t think it will make a difference if he goes somewhere else.
“I would like him to stay here. I think Palace would like him to stay here, but there is always a thing called an agent that has a different idea. If I were Danny – and I’ve been in his position as a father to a player in the same situation – I would stay and keep playing.
“Keep playing where people love you and what will be will be. You get to your level eventually. If he keeps creating noise around himself, he will have a great career.”
