Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries made light work of his Lazio counterpart, Nuno Tavares, in Monday’s dominant Serie A victory.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old humbled the Arsenal loanee in their head-to-head battle.
Tavares has been remarkable since joining Lazio in the summer.
Indeed, he has established himself as one of the most exciting offensive-minded full-backs in Serie A this term.
Earlier this season, he tore AC Milan’s defense apart, picking up two assists in a 2-2 draw in September.
However, Dumfries had him dominated on his home turf.
The Dutch wingback racked up a goal and an assist in a match-winning performance at the Stadio Olimpico.

Dumfries’ enjoyable performance wasn’t the only noteworthy takeaway from last night’s show in the capital.
Nicolo Barella and Federico Dimarco were equally impressive.
They were Inter’s second-best-rated players behind the 28-year-old star.
While Barella scored a contender for the goal of the season, Dimarco mustered a goal and an assist.
On a rare downside, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez maintained his underwhelming form.
Unfortunately, the Nerazzurri couldn’t get their talismanic forward on the scoreboard despite bagging six.
But Marcus Thuram intensified pressure on Mateo Retegui with his 11th league goal this term.
