Suggestion Aston Villa, West Ham and Bournemouth ‘ready to invest €18m’ as transfer battle commences

Aston Villa signed both Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

While both the arrivals were loaned out, it seems as if Unai Emery’s side could be looking to sign another player from the Italian top-flight.

MilanLive have reported on Aston Villa’s interest in AC Milan’s Yunus Musah, who is also being monitored by West Ham and Bournemouth.

The suggestion is that Milan don’t really want to let the American midfielder leave the club in January, but there is a feeling that Aston Villa, West Ham and Bournemouth are ‘ready to invest €18m’ to sign the 22-year-old.

That amount may not be enough for the Rossoneri to sell their player, with €20m+ being suggested.

An exit is likelier to happen in the summer. Club manager Paulo Fonseca has some doubts about Musah’s skillset and suitability to his system and that can allow Aston Villa, West Ham and Bournemouth to take advantage of the situation.
