Marcus Rashford is already making waves in the transfer market. Manchester United are determined to part ways with him this summer as part of a complete squad overhaul, with his transfer fee potentially around €40 million.
Despite having a contract at Manchester United until 2028, Rashford and his representatives are already exploring options.
Barcelona not seen as a feasible destination
Barcelona, for one, have been linked with a move for the England international, considering that he is seen as a bargain at €40 million given his performance and age.
However, according to Sky Sports (h/t SPORT), Barcelona are not considered a viable option to pursue the deal for Rashford due to their salary cap situation.

For the move to happen, the English forward would either need to significantly reduce his wage or Barça would have to make a sale to create space, which the club are not currently considering.
Rashford has long been a player of interest for Barcelona. A few years ago, they made a move for him when he was about to become a free agent.
At the time, Manchester United stepped in, offering a lucrative contract to keep him, but now the relationship seems to have soured.
No longer seen as ‘untouchable’, the 26-year-old was completely left out of the matchday squad for the recent Manchester derby by manager Ruben Amorim.
As such, the 27-year-old is expected to be on the move in the near future, but a transfer to Barça appears unlikely due to multiple factors.
The report further adds that Rashford’s camp sees PSG and Saudi Arabia as the only viable options where the contract and transfer fee could be accommodated.
