Manchester United have been alerted to Randal Kolo Muani’s availability in the winter window after being transfer listed by Paris Saint-Germain.
Indeed, the Parisians are seemingly growing resigned to the fact that it’s just not working out for Muani at the Parc des Princes and, as such, are now offering his services to any interested clubs.
The 26-year-old – hailed as a ‘complete’ striker by compatriot Kylian Mbappe – joined only last year from Eintracht Frankfurt and proceeded to make 26 Ligue 1 appearances in his first term – 13 as a starter. He scored six goals and notched five assists, which was a substantial decrease from his 15 goals and 14 assists in a tougher, more competitive league the season prior with Frankfurt.
Since 2024/2025 got underway, Muani has fallen almost entirely out of favour. He has been given the nod twice in the league and is yet to make a start in the Champions League. For PSG’s recent high-stakes clash versus Olympique Lyonnais over the weekend, the forward was controversially omitted from Luis Enrique’s matchday squad.
When pressed on the matter, the manager bluntly responded: “I can only call up 20 players. I know that I don’t speak French, but I couldn’t be any clearer in Spanish. If you don’t understand that, that’s not my problem.”

Alas, it comes as no surprise to learn that PSG are actively pushing to offload Muani when the window opens in a fortnight, and while RB Leipzig are said to be front of the queue, United are also expected to be in the mix, according to Football Insider.
Ruben Amorim is keen on acquiring more firepower in attack; Rasmus Hojlund has ignited prolific form since the new head coach took charge, while Joshua Zirkzee thrives in a slightly deeper, less traditional No.9 role.
United are, however, restricted to only loan additions due to the financial implications of Erik ten Hag’s early sacking. An initial loan with an obligation to buy may best suit the clubs, but the Reds want to hope Muani is able to replicate the version of himself witnessed at Frankfurt.
