An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Tuesday come to the fore online.
And it confirms the chatter which had been doing the rounds in the media over the last couple of days – that Mbappé is well ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury.
Frontman Mbappé was of course condemned to a spell on the sidelines last week.
After being forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s Champions League meeting with Atalanta, the Frenchman was subsequently announced as having picked up a muscular problem.
Mbappé, nevertheless, was included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad list of players bound for Qatar to face Pachuca in the final of the Intercontinental Cup.
And, if the latest word to have surfaced on Tuesday is anything to go by, then the summer arrival in Madrid appears ready to play a prominent role, too.
As per a report from **[Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/12/17/mbappe-preparado-recuperado-titular.html)**:
‘On Tuesday morning, Mbappé spoke with the doctors, the recovery workers and the coaching staff. He conveyed to all of them his confidence and his full recovery.’
It is therefore not out of the question that Mbappé could even be afforded a starting berth in Lusail tomorrow evening.
