Jude Bellingham has been nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award after a stonking debut season for Real Madrid
All eyes will be on Jude Bellingham tonight as he hopes to bag a coveted Sports Personality of the Year gong.
The 21-year-old from Dudley has been nominated for the prestigious award after a stonking debut season for Real Madrid and scoring twice for England at Euro 2024.
Off the pitch, Jude prefers to keep his love life out of the spotlight. However, the star is rumoured to be dating Dutch model and entrepreneur Laura Celia Valk, who recently appeared in a Victoria's Secret campaign. The rumoured couple had initially been keen on keeping their relationship on the down-low, only for Laura to reportedly let slip during a photoshoot.

Laura, who is based in Amsterdam, has reportedly been flying over to Jude's home in Madrid and makes sure to post sultry photos, prompting a series of likes from the midfielder. However, there were reports the relationship was just a publicity stunt, concocted by Laura's team to help boost her career. But body language expert Judi James reckons that's not the case as she told Fabulous Magazine: "She [Laura] poses like the ideal power-WAG, displaying two completely contrasting sets of projected signals. Her most potent technique is her ability to look cute, which primarily comes from her use of facial expressions."
Although Jude has so far kept quiet about their rumoured romance, comparisons have already been drawn with power couple of the moment, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Football finance expert Dr Rob Wilson told Saxo: "Bellingham is quite similar to Travis Kelce in that way with Taylor Swift, there is an alignment and exposure. From a brand alignment, it would be interesting to see if they ever do any co-activation, where they are both involved in promotion, but there will be a lot of off-field work as well."
Before Laura, former Birmingham City star, Jude, has previously been linked with another model, Asantewa Chitty as well as R&B singer Rmarni Ellis and American TikToker Azra Mian, who boasts over two million followers on the social media platform. The footballer was said to be smitten with influencer, Asanatewa, and his affections were apparently reciprocated as an insider told The Sun: "She is also very keen on him." She is excited to see where this goes." It is believed that they began dating in late 2022 and is not known when they broke up.

After the couple split, Jude was said to be on celebrity dating app, Raya. The footballer's player’s profile stated he was “visiting London from Madrid”. A source said told the publication at the time: “Jude is all about football, that’s his main focus. But he’s still keen to meet someone to settle down with. He’s been in London to see pals before the season heats up again. Jude is taking his time after the break-up.”
Recently, there was also whisperings of a flirtation between the midfielder and Kim Kardashian. The SKIMS star was rumoured to have her sights set on the footballer this summer when she took her son, Saint, to Real Madrid for a private tour of the Bernabeu.
Kim put on very flirty display when she rocked up at Real Madrid HQ as she flew into the Spanish capital to meet the England ace. Midfielder, Jude signed a shirt for the celebrity offspring, who strutted into the Bernabeu Stadium with his pal and famous mum as they were given the VIP treatment.
Uploading the clips to her Instagram Stories, Kimmy, sporting a cropped Real Madrid top and grey cargo pants, blew a kiss at the camera while Jude grinned in the background, sporting shorts, a training vest and a pair of Adidas sliders. Kim then took a group shot of the gang in which she angled her phone like a pro, pouting to perfection.
