Liverpool have been told how much they will need to pay if they want to sign Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
Jamie Carragher told Liverpool to move for the defender after the youngster produced another impressive display for Bournemouth. Liverpool are looking for Andrew Robertson competition and Kerkez could be the perfect fit for Arne Slot’s team.
The 21-year-old only signed for Bournemouth last season but he could soon be on the move again after an impressive 18 months at the Vitality Stadium.

How much Milos Kerkez would cost Liverpool
Liverpool will have to pay at least £40 million to prise Milos Kerkez away from Bournemouth, according to Caught Offside. The Cherries will be keen to keep hold of the Hungarian but could make a tidy profit on the £15.5 million they paid for him back in 2023.
The Reds will have to decide as to whether they would be willing to commit such a fee for a player who would potentially be just a backup option to Robertson. Although, given the Scot’s recent display there’s every chance the 21-year-old could push him to start immediately.
TBR Football recently reported that Kostas Tsimikas’ future is far from certain with the Greek international the club’s current Robertson alternative. TBR Football also understands that the Reds have been looking at Antonee Robinson and Rayan Ait-Nouri is also admired by Liverpool.
Why Liverpool could move for Milos Kerkez
Carragher has urged Liverpool to move for Kerkez who he believes has been a “revelation” for Bournemouth this season. The Liverpool legend was discussing him on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football and believes Bournemouth’s former director, Richard Hughes, who is now at Anfield could sign him for the second time having been the man to bring him to the South Coast.
Carragher told Sky Sports: We’ve just spoken about Liverpool’s left-back situation and the fact Andy Robertson needs help. Now listen, he’s been a revelation at Bournemouth, the only reason why I mention Liverpool is that fact that, yes they are probably looking for someone in that position, but also because the sporting director who brought him to Bournemouth is now the sporting director at Liverpool.
“He’s aggressive, he’s got pace. Even when you look at him he looks like a full-back, small, really aggressive and after wingers on that side. He’s been superb since he’s come into the Premier League for Bournemouth and it’s one to watch for the future whether he stays or leaves.”
