Arsenal star keen to leave the club in January

One Arsenal star is keen to leave to the club in January. He wants the North London club to allow him to move away from the club. Many top clubs have shown interest in Arsenal star but Napoli are said to be front runners in the race.

The star in question here is Polish defender Jakub Kiwior. Kiwior has been one of the important player for Arteta in recent years. He is not a regular starter but has provided the club with quality results whenever required.

Recently, Kiwior started 3 straight games due to Gabriel getting injured. He helped Gunners to record 2 clean sheets in those 3 matches. But, the Brazilian is now back and Kiwior was quickly replaced by Arsenal boss.

Will Arsenal allow Kiwior to join Napoli in January?

Kiwior is too good to sit on the bench regularly. There are reports that he is currently unhappy with lack of game time. Il Mattino have reported that the Polish defender has asked Gunners to let him leave in January window. Napoli are keen to bring the defender back to Italy.

This is not the first time Napoli have been linked with Kiwior. They did submit a bid earlier but Arsenal turned it down quickly. But now it seems like that could change as the player is forcing a move away from Arsenal.

Losing Kiwior will be a huge loss for Gunners as he always stepped up when the club needed him. The 24 year old has provided Arteta with quality results as a centre back and left back. It will prove very hard for Arsenal to find replacement for Kiwior and that too mid-season.

The Gunners may opt again to turn down the move but it makes less sense considering the unwillingness of Kiwior to continue at North London. Napoli will increase the pressure on Arsenal by guaranteeing the 24 year old regular football.
