Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold has again made more history after his superb cameo against Newcastle United two weeks ago.
The introduction of the 26-year-old sparked life into a very lacklustre Liverpool display with the full-back registering two assists in a thrilling 3-3 draw against the Magpies.
By doing so, Alexander-Arnold has become the first defender in Premier League history to reach the 60 mark, having been tied with his teammate Andy Robertson.

It’s the latest piece of history that portrays the sheer quality and value he holds for Liverpool, on and off of the pitch having signed a mega money deal with Adidas last season after leaving Under Armour, reinforcing just why the Reds cannot afford to let him leave for Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Alexander-Arnold, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah’s contract sagas have been the dark cloud lingering over a wonderful start to life under Arne Slot.
The Reds will be hoping to tie arguably their three best players to new deals with time ticking until January, when they are free to discuss with foreign clubs over potential free transfers.
Alexander-Arnold’s Premier League milestone has had us thinking of his best assists since breaking through into the first team in 2017.
Here’s our top five.
5th - Newcastle vs Liverpool
Liverpool’s very own quarter-back. A striker’s dream.
4th - Leicester vs Liverpool
We want to try and show that Trent Alexander-Arnold can produce world class service from not just the right flank.
In a game that is potentially his best ever performance in a Liverpool shirt, Alexander-Arnold produced a sublime in-swinging ball onto the head of Firmino as the Reds marched through the festive period with ease in their surge to their first Premier League title.
3rd - Brentford vs Liverpool
An assist that proves you aren’t safe no matter what foot Alexander-Arnold is using. There’s no such thing as a weak foot for him.

2nd - Liverpool vs Chelsea
It’s worth saying that picking five from Alexander-Arnold’s catalogue of assists is far from easy with multiple wonderful crosses from the right flank worthy of being in this list.
But we think this assist for Roberto Firmino on the night of lifting the Premier League trophy is the pick of the bunch.
The position he finds himself in, he has no right to be able to bend that perfectly onto Firmino’s head. But if anyone can, Trent can.
1st - Liverpool vs Barcelona
There was only going to be one winner wasn’t there?
The occasion, the opposition, the value of the goal and what came from it.
A true stroke of genius, yet at the same time it comes as no surprise with him.
In a season that saw us lift the Champions League, the fact this goal is still fans’ highlight of the season speaks volumes of it.
Simply iconic.
