Barcelona made an outstanding start to the 2024-25 season, although they have fallen off significantly in recent weeks. The upcoming winter break will allow Hansi Flick’s side to reset, and business could also be done during the transfer window, which opens at the start of January.
However, it is unlikely that Flick’s squad will be added to. As reported by Alfred Martinez, the plan is for no business to be conducted by Barcelona during the winter transfer window.

Signings would have been almost impossible anyway because of the club’s well-documented financial issues, and now it is believed that no one will depart. The likes of Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre have been linked as possible departees, although it makes sense that they would stay if there are no replacements lined up.
For now, [Barcelona’s](https://www.football-espana.net/category/la-liga/barcelona) focus remains on securing the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. Contract negotiations are also a priority, but one thing for certain is that signings are not.
