EPA-EFE/ADAM VAUGHAN](https://football-italia.net/rashford-juventus-ready-for-a-new-challenge/) Marcus Rashford sent a huge signal to Juventus in their pursuit of the forward, who confirmed he is “ready for a new challenge” after Manchester United.

The Bianconeri are seeking reinforcements in attack, as Dusan Vlahovic has for most of the season been their only real attacking option.

With new coach Ruben Amorim leaving Rashford out of the matchday squad for their 2-1 derby win over Manchester City on Sunday, this points towards a potential January exit.

Today, the England international spoke to Henry Winter and practically confessed his time at Old Trafford is over.

“For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps,” said Rashford.

“When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.

“If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.”

It also means that if Rashford is sold, then Manchester United are less likely to release Joshua Zirkzee on loan, another Juventus transfer target for January.

At age 27, Rashford can play in a variety of attacking roles including the left wing, right and as a centre-forward.

He is under contract with Manchester United until June 2028 and is a product of their youth academy, spending his entire career there.
