Chelsea have joined Manchester United and Liverpool in the pursuit of Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, according to Sky Sport CH.
The Nigeria international has developed into one of the best forwards in Serie A and he was recently named the African Player of the Year.
His performances have not gone unnoticed and Sky Sport CH claim that the Blues have also made contact with the player's representatives.
Lookman has the ability to play on the right and left wing. He can also operate as an attacking midfielder or play as the centre-forward.
His versatility could be the reason behind the Blues interest. Lookman won't come on the cheap with Atalanta expected to demand at least £50m.
Lookman has netted 11 goals and provided five assists from 19 games this term. Atalanta are open to selling him for the right price next year.
Paris Saint-Germain were hot on the trail of him last summer and they could provide competition to the English clubs for his signature.
