TBR football has exclusively learned that Tyler Dibling has rejected an opening offer from Southampton amid interest from the likes of Newcastle United.
The 18-year-old Southampton midfielder has been on the radar of Newcastle for a number of years, though they will be up against a host of clubs from the Premier League and the continent.
Talks between Dibling and the Saints have stalled in recent weeks, with the teenager now considering his options following a breakthrough season in the Premier League.
Dibling has just 18 months left on his current deal and that has come to the attention of a host of clubs.

Newcastle eyeing Southampton prodigy Tyler Dibling amid stalling contract discussions
TBR Football transfer expert Graeme Bailey has revealed that one of the clubs keen on Dibling is Jurgen Klopp’s RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga club is understood to be looking to take the Southampton gem to Klopp’s new project, whilst Borussia Dortmund and Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille also like him.
However, there is also interest in England with Newcastle watching him closely this season.
The Magpies have liked Dibling for a number of years and liked him when he left Southampton previously when he spent a year with Chelsea before a return to the south coast.
Manchester United, Aston Villa, Tottenham, West Ham and Brighton all appreciate Dibling too.
What Dibling could bring to Newcastle
Dibling has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Premier League, clocking up 15 Premier League appearances and two Carabao Cup outings this term.
The 18-year-old is a creative talent with excellent technique who can play at No. 10 and on both flanks, and has been likened to the likes of Jack Grealish and Emile Smith Rowe.
Dibling has also been mentored by Adam Lallana, one of the most exciting Premier League midfield orchestrators in recent years.
Earlier this season, Southampton defender Yukinari Sugawara backed his Saints teammate to become “one of the best” players in the Premier League.
He told the Daily Echo: “I still can’t believe he’s still 18 years old, he’s a top, top player already.
“He showed some really good stuff in the game and created big chances. He got a penalty and he also defended well.
“He’s a top talent and he will be one of the best players in the Premier League. I really enjoyed the game with him.
“It was really comfortable to play on the right side, he really knows what I want. We had really good communication. It’s going to be better I think.”
Sugawara continued: “When I saw his first session, I thought he was not 18. I asked, ‘How old are you?’ Then he said 18, I said, ‘What the… is that?’ He’s crazy, you know?
“But for sure he will be one of the best players because of his mentality, everything will be top-level.
“He’s still young, he needs to learn a lot of things but he just needs to focus on the process and what he wants to be.”
