Man Utd's forward Marcus Rashford has told journalist Henry Winter that he is "ready for a new challenge" amid rumours of the club's INEOS ownership harbouring plans to cash in on the Carrington graduate.
Rashford, 27, was left out of Ruben Amorim's squad for the Manchester derby at the weekend, which United dramatically won 2-1, with the head coach [appearing to question](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/13275037/marcus-rashford-fighting-for-manchester-united-future-after-failing-to-impress-ruben-amorim) his professionalism and application in training.
"For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps," Rashford, who has been at the club for almost 20 years, [told Winter](https://x.com/henrywinter/status/1869093724103602178) on Tuesday.
"When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse.
"I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."
_Sky Sports News_ first reported Rashford, who has scored seven times in 24 appearances this season, was on a collision course with the INEOS leadership and their "clean culture" approach earlier this year, after he breached former manager Erik ten Hag's rules for a third time in January.
