Viral England fan Andy Milne was spotted offering his support to Jude Bellingham at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.

Bellingham is on the six-person shortlist for this year's main award, which is headed by Olympic 800 metres champion Keely Hodgkinson, who is expected to become the fourth straight female winner.

Luke Littler is the second favourite ahead of Alex Yee, Joe Root, Bellingham and Sarah Storey.

Bellingham was nominated following a stunning debut season with Real Madrid, scoring 23 goals in all competitions for the Spanish giants.

His goals helped Real Madrid to win La Liga and the Champions League, while he struck twice on England's route to the Euro 2024 final.

Bellingham was named La Liga player of the season and Champions League young player of the season, while he also won the Laureus world breakthrough of the year award.

The 21-year-old's achievements were highlighted during the annual awards ceremony in Salford, although Bellingham was absent due to Real Madrid's involvement in the Intercontinental Cup in Qatar.

Cameras at the ceremony, however, picked out viral England fan Milne in the crowd showing his support for Bellingham.

Milne was seen standing and shouting out 'Jude' as the segment concluded highlighting his candidacy for the main award.

Milne has garnered a reputation as an England superfan after going viral at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He has become a cult figure among fans after he was snapped in Qatar hoisting a replica of the Jules Rimet Trophy during England's 3-0 victory against Senegal.

Fans had also nicknamed him 'World Cup Guy' and was also pictured following England's Lionesses during their 2023 Women's World Cup campaign out in Australia.

The retired biology teacher was also spotted in the crowd at multiple England matches at Euro 2024.
