For the last time in 2024, Chelsea are quickly moving on from Premier League action to an upcoming UEFA Conference League tie, as the Blues squad returned to the training pitch at Cobham on Tuesday.
We racked up our seventh win in a row in all competitions on Sunday, when we defeated Brentford 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
That is a run we will be looking to continue when we bring the league stage of our Conference League campaign to a close on home soil on Thursday evening against Shamrock Rovers.
That is especially true given we are in possession of the competition's last remaining 100 per cent record, with five wins out of five going into our last game of this stage.
The Blues were hard at work at Cobham ahead of that game and, according to [Tosin Adarabioyo](/en/teams/profile/tosin-adarabioyo), it is those day-to-day efforts in training which are behind our impressive form, both in the Conference League and across other competitions.
‘We focus every single day in training and hope the results come with that,’ said the defender. ‘We take each game as it comes. The manager is pushing us every single day to make sure we are doing the right things and preparing for each game.
‘We’ve got top players. When everyone puts in a shift – and against Brentford, we put in an amazing shift off the ball – it’s always good to see. Our next focus now is Shamrock Rovers.’
