West Ham United will face off with Aston Villa in the FA Cup in early January.
The FA Cup draw took place a couple of weeks ago, and it hurt when West Ham were pulled out the hat to take on Aston Villa at Villa Park.
There was some confusion regarding our ticket allocation for the match, but it has since been confirmed that we have been given 6,500 seats for the game.
I’m desperate for a cup run this season. We have a team capable of causing upsets, that’s for sure.
If Julen Lopetegui is still in charge come the new year, a good run in the FA Cup would definitely buy him even more time.

That has to start with a win at Villa Park – an incredibly tough thing to do.
However, the Hammers have proven just how massive we are as a football club three weeks before the showdown…
West Ham are massive after Aston Villa FA Cup announcement
The Hammers are a sleeping giant if you ask me.
We are a huge football club just waiting to take our place at the top table.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Whilst we haven’t had much success throughout out history, one thing that can’t be denied is that we have the best away support in the country.
And we have proven that once again ahead of our FA Cup clash with Aston Villa.
West Ham were allocated 6,500 tickets for the trip to Villa Park to take on Villa in the FA Cup third round.
And now, the club’s official website has announced that we have already sold out our allocation.
That is just outstanding isn’t it.
And it proves that West Ham really are massive.
Also, it’s worth remembering that the trip up to the West Midlands is on a Friday night – two weeks after Christmas.
The Hammers really do have incredible support don’t we, and it makes me feel very proud to be a part of it.
West Ham have had some terrible luck with our FA Cup and Carabao Cup draws over the past few years, and a trip to Aston Villa was the last thing we wanted really.
However, there will be 6,500 Hammers at Villa Park cheering on their team.
If the players can’t turn up and put in a shift for that at the very least, then I don’t know what will motivate them.
