Chelsea supporters have been discussing whether their club should make an offer for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The 27-year-old has spoken out to say he is open to a “new challenge,” strongly suggesting that he is seeking to leave Old Trafford either in January or at the end of the season. With Mykhailo Mudryk facing a lengthy ban if his failed drug test is confirmed, fans on X have been debating whether Rashford would be a good addition to the squad:

Where do we sign? Touch line winger cutting in and shooting. Him and Sancho contrast each other like Noni and Neto. We could eat if he gels with the team and stays out of the club.

Maresca has already rehabilitated another United winger
Many were sceptical when the Blues opted to bring in Jadon Sancho from the Red Devils during the summer transfer window.
However, head coach Enzo Maresca has managed to get a tune out of the 24-year-old, with Sancho scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists in just 8 starts. It is an open question, though, whether lightning could strike twice with Rashford.
A lot could depend on Rashford’s price
The deal for Sancho was pretty much a no-brainer in terms of the cost. It was a loan with a mandatory purchase clause worth between £20m to £25m.
It is doubtful that Rashford would be sold for that amount but, with Mudryk set to be unavailable for a considerable length of time, Chelsea’s recruitment team may well consider him as a potential target next month.
