Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Enzo Maresca's pre-match press conference this afternoon.
The Chelsea head coach will face the media from 1pm GMT today ahead of his side's UEFA Conference League league phase match against Shamrock Rovers tomorrow night. However, with the match essentially a dead rubber from the Blues' point of view and there being a big news story on the agenda, the press conference is set to be dominated by the situation involving Mykhailo Mudryk.
Mudryk has been provisionally suspended from football after being notified of a positive drugs test by the Football Association (FA). The 23-year-old had not featured for Chelsea in the last five matches in all competitions with Maresca saying the winger was missing through illness.
Both Chelsea and Mudryk released statements on Tuesday, with the club confirming they will work with the player to "establish what has caused the adverse finding". Mudryk, meanwhile, took to his social media channels to explain his complete "shock" at the findings.
