A "popular" bar in Ipswich town centre is expanding as it prepares to open a second Suffolk location in Bury St Edmunds.
Bar Twenty One opened three years ago in St Nicholas Street in Ipswich and has gone from strength-to-strength, becoming one of the go-to bars in town for nightlife.
Now, owners and business partners Gareth Harper and Neil Hawes have decided it is time to expand and open a new bar in Bury.
The pair have years of expertise in the hospitality and nightlife sector, and they hope to bring that to the west Suffolk town.

Mr Harper said: "We're really excited and looking forward to opening.
"It was always part of our plan to have more than one Bar Twenty One and our Ipswich bar has proved so popular that we thought now was a good time to expand.
"We did our research on Bury and the nightlife seemed to be very tired there, so we wanted to offer something for people to go to and have a nice time.
"There's a definite gap in the market in Bury.

"We think it will make a huge impact on Bury nightlife."
Mr Harper said the Bury branch will be very much the same as the Ipswich bar, with similar drink offerings and décor throughout.
The bar will also continue to be a space for Ipswich Town fans, offering a place to drink before getting a train over to Ipswich for games at Portman Road.

There will be DJs in the new bar, as well as entertainment during the week.
The owners hope to open the Bury Bar Twenty One at the end of March, coinciding with the Easter weekend.
An exact location is soon to be announced.
