The clock is ticking for the new Everton owners to complete their takeover ahead of the January transfer window.
It has not been the start to the season which Everton fans would have hoped for with the Toffees sitting down in 16th spot.
Reports suggest The Friedkin Group would takeover Everton on Wednesday having sealed approval from the Premier League last week.
However, there is still no sign of that happening shortly after lunchtime as Sean Dyche prepares his side to face Chelsea this weekend.
But The Friedkin Group’s stance has now been shared with fans on Merseyside waiting eagerly to hear the announcement.

The Friedkins are optimistic over Everton takeover completion
It has been suggested the Friedkins will not make a huge announcement as they are fully aware of the work needing to be done at Everton.
However, the American billionaire is optimistic his takeover of the Toffees is going to be completed within the next 48 hours.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has taken to X to share the view from inside The Friedkin Group.
‘The Friedkin Group remain optimistic confirmation of their Everton takeover will come before this week is out,’ he said.
‘TFG have never put a specific deadline on completion due to various complexities, but the hope is that everything will be official within the next 48 hours.’
Alan Myers claimed the Everton takeover could be completed on Thursday at the latest, but some fans may be growing impatient over the saga.
But it seems as if an announcement is coming with fans soon set to see the start of a new beginning at Everton.
The Friedkin Group will have to balance Roma and Everton
An interesting decision is going to land on Dan Friedkin’s desk as he now has to balance ownership of two major clubs.
The Friedkins were furious with Roma over the weekend as they lost to Serie A strugglers Como.
That is something they may have to get used to at Everton with victories few and far between this season for Dyche’s side.
Big decisions are going to have to be made to solve these issues at Everton with Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell set to be sacked when The Friedkin Group arrive.
But with two struggling sides under his belt, it is going to be interesting to see how the new Everton owners balance their responsibilities.
