Every Premier League club’s worst player in 24/25: Mudryk, Walker, Jesus, Mount, Ferguson…

Here is the worst player for every Premier League club in 2024/25. We are using WhoScored average match ratings, so divert your anger to them, please!

We have f**ked off the minutes threshold and are only including players with at least six appearances and one start.

Every Premier League club’s worst player this season

**Arsenal: Gabriel Jesus (6.20)**Jesus has never been renowned for having The Scoring Touch but any ability to score appears to have left him. He only has 266 minutes under his belt in the Premier League and has zero goals, zero assists and four yellow cards, which is kind of impressive.

**Aston Villa: Jaden Philogene (5.92)**Philogene was sent off after only 32 minutes against Fulham on October 19, which has done him no favours.

**Bournemouth: Julian Araujo (6.11)**Araujo has failed to adapt to life in the Premier League after a fairly underwhelming loan spell at Las Palmas last season. Go figure.

**Brentford: Mads Roerslev (6.24)**Aaron Hickey’s long-term injury problems mean Roerslev has been a regular starter over the last year.

**Brighton: Evan Ferguson (6.20)**Ferguson was the best thing since sliced bread and destined for a £100million transfer this time last year. Now he can barely get a kick and is available for loan in January. He has one goal from two starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League this season. People maybe got a little too excited about him.

**Chelsea: Mykhaylo Mudryk (6.18)**Doesn’t look like this rating will change any time soon.

**Crystal Palace: Nathaniel Clyne (6.05)**Clyne has started three times in the Premier League this season and is undoubtedly past his best. According to WhoScored, his best league match this season was against Chelsea (6.49) and his worst was against Leicester City (5.52).

**Everton: Beto (6.18)**Beto has been a tragic signing for Everton, who need something different up top (and in the dugout).

**Fulham: Timothy Castagne (6.36)**Just meets the threshold required for a place ahead of previous holder Calvin Bassey.

Ipswich: Wes Burns (6.14)

Burns has been a bad luck charm for Ipswich this season, assisting once in 13 league appearances. He didn’t play in their only win at Spurs and came on for an injured Chiedozie Ogbene when 2-0 up in the first half at Brentford. They were 3-2 down (in-game) 16 minutes later.

**Leicester: Bobby De Cordova-Reid (6.19)**De Cordova-Reid was a tidy but uninspiring signing from Leicester in the summer.

**Liverpool: Conor Bradley (6.26)**Liverpool are on fire this term but it had to be someone. Sorry, Conor.

**Man City: Kyle Walker (6.32)**Walker has had a difficult year. And when we say difficult, we are politely saying he has been rubbish. Still, the abuse he is getting is f**king ridiculous.

**Man Utd: Mason Mount (6.08)**Not happening for Mount at Old Trafford yet. His best chance of kicking on is simply by staying fit, gaining match sharpness, consistency and confidence.

**Newcastle: Miguel Almiron (6.06)**The Magpies wanted rid of Almiron in the summer but the player didn’t want to leave. He is starting on the bench every week as a thank you.

**Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi (6.06)**Overachieving Forest wouldn’t be in Our League if it wasn’t for Awoniyi’s goals in 2022/23. And in the blink of an eye, he is no longer a regular starter and playing second fiddle to Chris Wood.

**Southampton: Jack Stephens (5.93)**With two red cards already this season, Stephens’ place is very much justified.

**Tottenham: Archie Gray (6.32)**Teenager Gray has been playing here, there and everywhere for Spurs this season. It isn’t any use for his development, really.

**West Ham: Vladimir Coufal (6.24)**Rightly lost his place in Julen Lopetegui’s starting XI after the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Started against Bournemouth and bumped his average rating up.

**Wolves: Rodrigo Gomes (6.00)**In nine league appearances this term, 21-year-old winger Gomes has zero goal contributions.
