If not when
Henry Winter believes there will be a mutual parting of the ways between Marcus Rashford and Manchester United.
Rashford told Winter that he is ready for a new challenge, suggesting a move away will be coming soon.
Winter told talkSPORT: "He's very respectful of the club. He's been there 19 years and it's a club that's very much in his heart. It's a club that sort of shaped him.
"You look at the amazing coaching that goes on in the academy. He's done pretty well for them. He scored one in three, 426 appearances for Manchester United, and a few trophies.
"Two seasons ago he scored 30 odd goals. I think it's one of those things that it's sad to say, but it seems like an inevitable parting of the ways.
"I think both sides should wish each other well for the future.
"Manchester United under this outstanding coach they've got in Ruben Amorim and Marcus Rashford, whether he goes to Italy or to Spain, whether initially on loan or they get a fee for him, and you would expect them to get a decent fee for him because he's a very good player.
"He's highly respected abroad, England international, 60 caps, and he clearly wants to add to those."
